Wedding at Creative Events of Dallas

Last night we had the honor of photographing Nette and Mike’s beautiful wedding in Dallas, Texas.
Their wedding was at The Creative Event’s of Dallas on Oaklawn Ave. ( Who’s owner and staff are some of the nicest people we have ever met! ) The venue was beautiful.
Nette did most of the decorating herself, with some help from the venue, and all of it looked amazing. We could not stop photographing all the beautiful details. We had fun, and we were happy to spend the evening with Nette and Mike’s friends and family……. they were all such wonderful people!
Congrats again Nette and Mike, we know you will have a wonderful life together!

Part 3 of Weekend fun…

So, turns out, Sat was a wonderful day… I was able to spend time with some amazing people and V and I got to end the day with someone very special to us. We were asked to shoot an engagement party for our fave bride-to-be and her man!
We had tons of fun. It was really great to be able to capture this couple having a good time with their family and friends.

Weekend fun part 2….

So, after the parade and Ianna’s birthday pictures I headed to Plano to photograph an adorable engaged couple, Cyndi and Jesse.
They wanted the backdrop of their pictures to be somewhere special to them, and we at Blue Sunshine are all about that! The couple picked a nature preserve in Plano where they like to take walks, go on hikes, and just spend time together.
I really enjoyed my time with them and could tell that these two have so much fun together and love each other very much. Every chance Jesse had, he’d sneak in a kiss!!!
I really hope to be able to spend their wedding day with them next year!

Weekend fun!

It’s Sunday night and we are winding down, finally trying to wrap up this busy weekend.
Here’s how the weekend went.
Saturday: Meet some friends in downtown Grapevine to photograph their little girl’s two year old pictures. They wanted to do some fun, vintage-retro style backgrounds outdoors for her fun black and white outfits so we decided on Main street in Grapevine. Little did either of us know that the Butterfly-Flutterby Parade was going on at the exact time we had decided to meet and on the exact street we decided to meet on! Oh no!
In the end it worked out well, I got to walk around and take pictures of cute/funny kids and dogs in butterfly costumes, watch a parade of children and dogs, and photograph an adorable almost 2 year old!

Busy Busy Busy

We had a busy weekend last weekend…
We had the pleasure of photographing two wonderful couples this past weekend.
First on Sat. we photographed Amelia and Todd’s wedding!
It was such a pleasure to share their day with them and capture every little moment so they can look back on this day for years to come. The wedding was held at the Country Abbey in Justin, Texas. We will have pictures up really really soon.. we can’t wait to show you how happy both Ameila and Todd were on their wedding day.
On Sun. We met up with Manuel and his beautiful bride-to-be for a fun engagement shoot in the Downtown Fort Worth area.. They are so much fun to be around and very obviously in love
We hope to be able to spend their wedding day with them.
The Wedding Party

Last Sunday, we were invited to be vendors at The 1st ever Wedding Party Event, held by the Wedding Party Studio!
The event was held at the ultra-modern Nylo hotel in Plano, Texas!
We had a lot of fun getting to know the people at The Wedding Party and chatting with other vendors but most of all we loved talking to the Brides at the event. This event was much different from the “normal” bridal shows, we had some one-on-one time with each of the brides ( and family member, friend, or husband-to-be’s ) to discuss what exactly they were looking for, and how we could make that happen!
We’ve received a tremendous amount of response from the brides who attended the party… and can’t wait to be a part of their special day!
